What is a lumbar cushion used for?
It fills the hollow between your lower back and the chair, so you are not slumping into the gap. The same half-roll shape also works under the knees or ankles in bed, or under an arm or the neck.
Should I choose Short or Long?
Short (280mm) suits narrower chairs, car seats and wheelchairs. Long (350mm) covers more of the back on wider armchairs and recliners. If an occupational therapist or physio has recommended a size, follow their advice.
How does it stay in place?
It has an elastic strap with a buckle that goes around the chair back.
