All-Terrain Walking Frames

Get outside on gravel, grass and uneven ground.

Standard rollators have small hard wheels that catch on stones and sink into damp lawn. All-terrain frames use larger wheels — often air-filled — that roll over loose metal, grass and tree roots instead of stopping dead on them. If your walker only works on smooth footpaths and you have given up on the garden, the beach path or the gravel drive, this is the difference.

Look for wheel diameter first, then tyre type: air-filled tyres absorb the most shock but need occasional pumping, while solid tyres are lower maintenance and still far better than a small castor.
