What is an overbed table used for?
An overbed table rolls over your bed, chair or recliner to give you a stable surface for eating, reading, working on a laptop, or hobbies. It's especially useful for anyone recovering at home, in bed for long periods, or with limited mobility.

Do your overbed tables have wheels?
Yes — every table rolls on smooth casters so you can move it into place easily, and most have lockable wheels to keep it steady once positioned. The U-base and C-base frames slide under a bed, sofa or wheelchair.

What is a tilting overbed table?
A tilting overbed table has a top that angles up, ideal for reading, using a tablet or laptop, or eating at a comfortable angle. Many of our tables also have a split top — one half tilts while the other stays flat for a drink or plate.

Will an overbed table fit over my bed or chair?
Most are height-adjustable and use a U-base or low-profile C-base that slides under a bed, recliner or wheelchair. Check the base height and clearance against your furniture; our team can help you match the right frame if you're unsure.
