Everything You Need to Know About This Product...

Description

Why the Freiheit beats a cheap online wheelchair

It looks similar in a photo — but it isn't. The Freiheit is German-engineered on an aircraft-style aluminium frame, so it's light enough to lift one-handed yet strong enough for daily use up to 110kg. The wheels are quick-release and serviceable, the tyres are solid PU (you'll never pump them up), and it runs dual brakes for both the user and the person pushing. Best of all, it's supplied by Cubro NZ — so if you ever need a part or a service, it's handled here in New Zealand.

• Type: Self-propelled — large 60cm (24") rear wheels with hand rims; attendant push handles also fitted
• Frame: German-engineered lightweight aluminium
• Weight: 16kg (8.2kg with rear wheels removed)
• Max user weight: 110kg
• Seat widths: 40cm, 45cm or 50cm
• Folds to: 30cm wide — fits most car boots
• Wheels: Quick-release rear; solid puncture-proof PU tyres
• Transfers: Flip-back armrests + swing-away, removable footrests
• Brakes: Dual — user hand brakes and attendant brakes
• Included: Seatbelt
• Backing: 12-month NZ warranty · parts & servicing through Cubro NZ

Is the warranty valid in New Zealand?
Yes — a minimum 12-month NZ-backed warranty on every chair, handled locally.
