Will it fit my toilet?
It clamps onto the pan with three adjustable brackets, so what matters is the shape of your pan, not the brand of toilet. Lift your seat and run a finger under the rim: if there is a lip with a gap underneath, the brackets have something to grip, and it will sit securely. Rounded and oval pans almost always have this. Modern square, D-shaped or “skirted” pans, where the sides run straight down to the floor, often have nothing to grab and a clamp-on raiser will slide about on them — an over-toilet frame is the right answer there. The raiser itself measures 29–30cm wide and 42–43cm long overall. Measure your pan across its widest point and from the cistern to the front tip before you order. If you are at all unsure, send us a photo of your toilet and we will tell you honestly.
Is the opening big enough to reach through?
The opening is 14–15cm across and 26–27cm front to back, with a 10–11cm gap at the front. That is on the narrower side. If reaching to wipe has been a problem in the past, choose the Derby Deluxe at 10cm instead — its opening is 25.5cm across, the widest we sell.
