Will it fit my toilet?
The Hi-Loo clamps on with four adjustable brackets — more contact points than most raisers, which is part of why it feels so solid. Lift your seat and run a finger under the pan rim: if there is an overhanging lip with a gap underneath, the brackets have something to grip. Rounded and oval pans almost always have this. Modern square, D-shaped or “skirted” pans, whose sides run straight down to the floor, often do not, and a clamp-on raiser will move about on them — an over-toilet frame is the better choice in that case. Measure your pan across its widest point and from the cistern to the front tip before ordering, and send us a photo if you would like us to check.
Is the opening big enough to reach through?
Yes — at 20–20.5cm across and 27cm front to back, the Hi-Loo has a noticeably roomier opening than the budget raisers. Only the Derby Deluxe at 10cm is wider.
