What is this cushion used for?

Longer sitting in a manual or power wheelchair where skin protection and pelvic positioning both matter.

Foam or gel — which Spectrum should I choose?

The Gel version has a lightweight fluid insert in the pelvic well. The Foam version uses layered viscoelastic foam instead, with nothing to check or redistribute, and has a higher weight rating (294kg vs 250kg). Your OT can advise which suits you.

What size is it?

Is the cover waterproof?

The CoolCore cover manages moisture, and there is a urethane liner underneath it for incontinence.
