Dual motors. The backrest and footrest operate independently, so each can be adjusted to any position without affecting the other.

Does the chair have battery backup?
Yes. The chair operates normally during a power outage. No manual override needed.

How does the stand assist work?
The chair lifts forward to a near-standing position at the press of a button. Movement is smooth and controlled. Releasing the button stops the chair immediately.
