The VersaFlo3 is the highest specification pressure care surface we sell — a hybrid system that combines foam and alternating air rather than choosing between them.

An ActiveX comfort layer sits on top for immediate comfort and redistribution. Beneath it, adjustable air cylinders alternate pressure under the user on a cycle, so no single area carries load continuously. An XP Support foundation underneath prevents bottoming out — the failure mode that makes cheaper air mattresses dangerous when the pump is off or the user is heavy.

Rated for Very High Risk clients. This is the surface for someone with existing pressure injuries, or where the clinical assessment says foam alone is not enough.

The pump is whisper-quiet with intuitive controls and variable pressure and interval settings, because a system that disturbs sleep every few minutes defeats its own purpose. CPR release enables immediate deflation in an emergency. A repair kit is included, allowing the mattress to be repaired up to five times before replacement.
