Pressure care that adapts

ActiveX foam responds to heat and pressure, softening around high-pressure or inflamed areas. The result is genuine immersion and envelopment — scored 4 out of 5 — rather than a foam slab that pushes back.

Cooler nights

Gel infusion regulates temperature and the anti-shear Bluetec cover is woven with a cooling yarn. If overheating is disturbing sleep, this is the layer that fixes it.

FAQs - Your Questions Answered

Will the IC30 work with my adjustable bed?

Yes — it is designed for adjustable and profiling beds. It bends with the bed rather than resisting it, and Contour-Latch keeps it securely in place as the head and knee sections move. At 200mm it fits the iCare IC333 and IC777, and the Cubro Caro (which takes mattresses up to 200mm).

Can I use it on a standard bed base?

Yes. It works on a normal base as well as an adjustable one.

What makes it different from a standard foam mattress?

ActiveX responds to heat and pressure, so it softens where the body presses hardest instead of applying even resistance. That is what redistributes pressure and protects skin. A standard foam mattress cannot do it, and is not rated for pressure care.

How much weight does it support?

The user weight range is 30kg to 200kg.

Is it waterproof?

The standard Bluetec cover is not. If incontinence is a factor, ask us about the medical-grade Zerotec cover, which wipes down and prevents fluid seeping into the mattress, or a fully enclosed zip cover.

Do I need to flip or rotate it?

No — the IC30 is flip-free by design.

How do I wash the cover?

Zip it fully closed and wash it on its own, cold water only, maximum 30°C, gentle cycle, mild liquid detergent. No bleach, stain remover or fabric softener. Air dry in the shade if you can; tumble dry on air fluff or lowest heat only, and do not iron. Heat and harsh chemicals damage the cooling fibres and the anti-slip backing.

Which size do I need?

Match it to your bed. Long Single suits the IC333LS and IC777LS, King Single the KS beds, and so on. If you are ordering a bed and mattress together, contact us and we will quote them as one price and make sure the sizes match.

Can I get funding for the IC30?

Possibly. Pressure care mattresses are commonly funded where there is a clinical need. It is arranged through an occupational therapist, who submits the request to Enable New Zealand or Accessable, or to ACC if the need arises from an injury. We are a registered vendor with Enable, ACC and MSD/Work and Income.
