The IC15 is the firm mattress in the iCare ActiveX range. Low immersion and a stable surface make turning and repositioning easier — which is exactly what you want when someone is moving themselves in bed, or when a carer is repositioning them regularly.
A softer mattress feels kinder but is harder to move on. The IC15 trades some immersion for stability, and for the right person that is the better outcome.
It also carries the widest weight range in the ActiveX range at 45–300kg, making it the option for heavier users who still need pressure care. At 150mm it is the slimmest of the range, which helps keep side rails effective.
Rated High Risk for pressure care with a Waterlow rating of 20+, flip-free, with firm edge support and a zip-off washable cover. Ten-year limited warranty.
