Will the High Side Rail fit my bed?

Only if you have an iCare homecare bed. It slips into a socket on the iCare bed frame, so it won't attach to a standard divan, slat base or another brand of hospital bed. Send us a photo of your frame if you're not sure.

Should I choose the High or the Low Side Rail?

Choose High if the person needs to pull up higher, or moves about a lot in bed. Choose Low if a carer needs to reach across the bed often, or if a tall rail would feel too enclosing.

Does it run the full length of the bed?

No. It's a compact rail that mounts at one point along the side. For full-length coverage, look at the Extendable Side Rail or the Full Length Fold-Down Side Rail.

Is it sold as a pair?

No, individually. Order two if you want one on each side.

Can I get a cover for it?

Yes — there's a padded cover made specifically for the High Side Rail. Mesh and fabric slip versions exist too; ask us for current pricing on those.
