Will these fit my bed?

Only if you have an iCare homecare bed. They mount to the iCare bed frame, so they won't fit a standard divan, slat base or another brand of hospital bed. Send us a photo of your frame if you're not sure.

Can I buy just one side?

Yes — we list the single rail separately, in left or right. This listing is the pair, which is the usual choice when the bed isn't against a wall.

Who can lower the rail?

The release is designed to be operated by a carer, not by the person in bed. That's deliberate — it stops the rail being lowered unintentionally.

Do I need an assessment first?

We strongly recommend it. Full-length rails change how safe a bed is in both directions — the wrong rail, or the wrong mattress with the right rail, creates entrapment risk. An occupational therapist can confirm what's appropriate.

Do they come with covers?

No — covers are separate. The padded Full Length cover is sold per rail, so you'd need two for a pair.
