Who makes this cane?
Gastrock, a German walking stick manufacturer established in 1868. Each cane is individually crafted and finished.

Is it height-adjustable?
No. Fixed length. Measure from the floor to your wrist crease when your arm hangs at your side to determine the correct length.

What type of handle does it have?
Derby handle. Shaped to sit naturally in the palm. Can be hooked over your arm or a chair when not in use.

Can the tip be replaced?
Yes. Standard rubber ferrule — replacements are available.

What warranty is included?
12-month NZ-based warranty.

Excellent walking Stick

The stick is excellent, slim but strong. The only down side was the time it took to get here. 10 days from when the courier informed me that it was picked up for delivery to when it arrived here. We are rural but only 10 minutes from Orewa. I received parcels from Australia quicker! and this was only coming from Hamilton!

We are based in Tauranga, not Hamilton.

Your order was placed on 5 January, and the tracking shows Aramex picked it up the same day.

The delivery delay was entirely within the Aramex Auckland network, where your parcel sat from 5 January until it was delivered on 15 January.

Your tracking history shows:

5 Jan – Picked up in Tauranga

13 Jan – Aramex reported a delay in Auckland

15 Jan – Delivered

As an online-only retailer, we don’t control courier timing once the parcel is collected. Rural delivery can sometimes add extra time too, depending on the local driver’s schedule.

But the good news is the product arrived safely, and I’m pleased it’s working well for you.

Beautiful craftsmanship

Lightweight, yet strong and beautifully crafted, this walking cane was bought for my partner whose back situation has deteriorated over the last year or two. It is helping with his balance and walking, and is a discreet and stylish prop. This walking cane appears to be very good quality.

I guess we must live in denial, until one's body sends you a very clear message. At age 78 finally I got the message LOUD & CLEAR. As I wait for surgery on both knees it was time to act. My new stick has become a god-send.
