Why would I want a reversible cover?

Because needs change. If continence is occasional rather than constant, sleeping on a waterproof surface every night is uncomfortable and unnecessary. Use the velour side day to day and turn it over when you need the protection.

Will it fit my mattress?

It suits most specialised foam mattresses. The Super Single measures 1100 x 2010mm with a 140mm depth — check that against your mattress, or tell us which one you have and we will confirm.

Does it replace a mattress protector?

Used waterproof side up, it does the same job. If you need a permanent barrier that also wipes clean between changes, look at the Zerotec medical cover instead.
