Fitted Sheet Style Protector

A whisper-quiet waterproof hygiene barrier over the top surface. Pulls on and off like a fitted sheet, so it is quick to change — which is the whole point when it needs doing at two in the morning.

Fully Enclosed Zip Cover

Covers all six sides and closes with a zip. Use it where the mattress must be protected from soiling completely, not just on top.

If incontinence is a regular factor

Look at the medical-grade Zerotec cover instead — it wipes down between changes and is built for exactly that situation.

Will it make the bed hot or noisy?

The protector is designed to be whisper-quiet, unlike the crackly plastic-backed sheets people often remember. It is a waterproof barrier without the noise.

Does it affect the pressure care of the mattress?

A well-fitted protector should not meaningfully reduce pressure redistribution. Avoid stretching a too-small protector tightly over a mattress — that does create a hammocking effect that works against the mattress underneath.

Which size do I order?

Match the mattress, not the bed frame. Split Queen is supplied as a pair, for two mattresses side by side.

Can I put it in the washing machine?

Yes. Wash it on its own, on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent, and avoid high heat — heat damages waterproof backings.

Should I buy two?

Most people find a spare essential. One on the bed and one in the wash means you are never caught out mid-change.
