What is the PVC pad used for?
iCare describes it as a multi-purpose pad for chairs, beds or specific areas of the body. It circulates temperature-controlled water from the HydroSense unit.
How is it different from the HydroSense Bed Pad?
The Bed Pad is a quilted 90 x 190cm pad that covers the whole bed surface. The PVC pad is a durable, easy-to-clean pad for more targeted use.
What size is the Medium?
iCare doesn't publish the Medium dimensions online. Call us and we'll confirm them before you order.
How do I clean it?
The PVC surface is easy to clean. Follow the care instructions in the iCare HydroSense User Manual, which you can download on this page.
Do I need the HydroSense control unit?
Yes. The attachment doesn't heat or cool on its own. It connects to the iCare HydroSense control unit (sold separately), either directly or through the Extender Hose or Dual Function Splitter.
How warm or cool does it get?
You set the temperature on the HydroSense control unit, which iCare rates from 8°C to 48°C. The unit has a digital control and a built-in timer.
I'm hiring the HydroSense unit. Do I need my own attachment?
Yes. Attachments that touch the skin aren't shared between hire customers, so you buy your own and keep it. See our Hire page for the unit hire terms.
Can I return it?
Unused items in original condition can be returned within 30 days. Because this attachment touches the skin, it can't be returned once used unless it's faulty.
