What is a straight support rail for?
It gives a secure handhold for steadying, pulling up and moving across — ideal beside a shower, bath, toilet or along a hallway.
Which size should I choose?
Eight lengths from 300mm to 1200mm are available. Shorter rails suit a single grab point; longer rails give more hand-travel. An occupational therapist can advise the best size and placement.
How much weight does it hold?
The stainless steel tubing supports a downward pull of up to 113kg.
Does it look tidy?
Yes — the mounting flange and screws are concealed with a fitted cover for a clean finish.
What fixings are included?
Stainless steel screws supplied. Other wall fittings not supplied.
How is it fitted?
It screws to the wall and can be set up for left- or right-hand use. Rails must be fitted by a qualified person and should only be fixed to walls of sound construction. Careful consideration should be given to choosing fixing applications.
Who supplies this?
Cubro NZ.
