Who is Mobility Plus?
Mobility Plus is a family-owned, New Zealand-based online store specialising in high-quality mobility equipment, with solutions that enhance comfort and ease of movement.
How long does shipping take within New Zealand?
We dispatch daily, with 2–4 day delivery across NZ. Rural areas may take slightly longer.
What is your returns policy?
For hygiene and safety reasons, toilet seat raisers are classed as personal-use toileting equipment and can't be returned once dispatched — even if unused. This is covered in our Returns & Refunds policy. If your item arrives faulty, you're fully protected under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 — just get in touch and we'll sort a repair, replacement, or refund.
Who supplies this product?
Supplied by Goldfern, a trusted New Zealand-based company known for high-quality, reliable equipment with local support.
Will it fit my toilet?
It locks on with side and rear brackets, and it is designed for standard oval pans. Lift your seat and run a finger under the rim: if there is an overhanging lip with a gap underneath, the brackets have something to grip. Rounded and oval pans almost always have this. Square, D-shaped or “skirted” pans, whose sides run straight down to the floor, usually do not — a clamp-on raiser will move about on those, and an over-toilet frame with arms would suit you better. The raiser measures 38.5cm wide by 44cm long overall. Measure your pan across its widest point and from the cistern to the front tip before ordering.
Is the opening big enough to reach through?
This is the narrowest opening in our range — 15cm across by 28cm front to back, with a 10–11cm gap at the front. You are buying this one for the armrests, not the opening. If reaching to wipe is your main difficulty, choose the Derby Deluxe at 10cm (25.5cm opening) instead, or an over-toilet frame, which gives you both arms and an open seat.
