How does the seat work?
The tripod legs fold out to form a stable base with a fabric seat. It sits on its own — no wall or chair needed. When you’re done, fold the legs back in and use it as a regular walking stick.

Is it stable when used as a seat?
Yes. The three-point base sits securely on flat surfaces. Best used on hard or firm ground.

Is it height-adjustable?

With this type of product, seat size is always a compromise. A larger seat would mean a bigger, heavier walking stick, which defeats the purpose of a portable cane-and-seat designed to be carried and used easily.

This model is intentionally sized to balance support, weight, and portability, and the seat dimensions are consistent with this style of walking aid.

Hubby has only been able to use this once, but it found it to be comfortable

Great idea

Bulkier than I was expecting, but the idea is great and will work for many. I suffer with hip and lower back issue and find the seat too hard for me. Working on some simple pad to make it more comfy and useable.

Thank you for sharing your feedback — we really appreciate it. This seat is designed for stability and safety, so it can’t really be made smaller without losing support. Adding a soft pad can help with comfort, but please keep in mind it may make the seat feel even bulkier!

Walking stick with seat works well

Bought this for an upcoming tour in New York that includes a number of walking and museum tours. Saw someone else using one very successfully last year. This model has a slightly narrow seat. There are other brands around with a wider seat. My luggage bag isn't big enough to fit it inside, so that might need to be checked.

You're right that this model has a slightly narrower seat, which helps keep it lightweight and easy to carry, especially for travel and tours like yours. We have previously sold wider-seat options, but they tend to be heavier and bulkier, making them less convenient to pack or use on the go.

As it’s a mobility aid, most airlines will allow you to bring it as carry-on or checked luggage free of charge, but we do recommend checking with your airline to be sure.

Easy Use

Although I disagree with the description of this item I used it to great effect during a visit to Adelaide to watch V8 Supercars, not being able to walk far at a time was made very easy with the plastic seat attached to the aluminum frame and stick, being able to be set up very quickly and dropped down just as easily.
Recommend this product highly.
