Cubro Casero Quad Telescopic Split Side Rails NZ | Pair | Fits Casero Duo
The quad telescopic split side rails are the rails designed for the Cubro Casero bed range — confirmed by Cubro as suiting the Casero Duo in both Single and Super Single.
Split means the rail is in two sections rather than one continuous barrier, so the person can be assisted in or out at the middle of the bed without dropping the whole rail. Telescopic means each section extends, so you can adjust the coverage along the length of the bed rather than being fixed to one position.
Supplied as a pair — one for each side of the bed.
Side rails are a clinical decision, not just a safety add-on. They reduce the risk of rolling out of bed, but they also introduce entrapment risk if the gap between rail and mattress is wrong, and they can increase injury if someone climbs over them. If nobody has assessed the need, talk to an occupational therapist before ordering — and remember mattress depth matters, because a taller mattress leaves less effective rail height above the sleeping surface.
