Most lift chairs raise the legs to roughly hip height. The T-3 goes further — full Trendelenburg lifts the legs above the heart, a position often recommended where swelling, oedema or circulation is a concern. It also holds a zero-gravity position, and because the two motors are independent, everything in between.

Two-person home delivery, installation, assembly and packaging removal available NZ-wide.

What is Trendelenburg, in plain English?
It's a position where your legs sit higher than your heart. Most lift chairs only raise the legs to around hip height. The T-3 goes past that. It's often suggested where there's swelling in the legs, oedema, or circulation concerns — but whether it's right for you is a conversation for your OT or GP, not a website.

How is this different from the LC-107?
Both are dual motor infinite-position chairs. The T-3 adds full Trendelenburg and a zero-gravity position, is rated higher at 170kg, and is finished in genuine leather rather than fabric. The LC-107 is the more affordable choice if you don't need legs-above-heart.

What is zero gravity?
A reclined position with the knees raised slightly above the hips, which takes pressure off the lower back. Many people find it the most comfortable position in the chair for long periods.

What colours does it come in?
Black only, in genuine leather. Pride doesn't offer other colours in the T-3.

Does it have heat and massage?
No. Heat and massage are not offered on the T-3.

What happens in a power cut?
Lithium battery backup is fitted as standard. If the power goes out while you're reclined, the chair will return you to a seated position.

How is it controlled?
A 6-button hand control covering stand, legrest and full-flat including Trendelenburg. There's a USB charger built into it.

How much space does it need?
Pride doesn't publish an overall footprint for the T-3. It lays fully flat, so allow generous clearance behind. If space is tight, contact us and we'll measure a unit before you commit.

How long does delivery take?
Around 7–10 working days to most North and South Island addresses. Allow an extra 2–3 working days for rural delivery.
