Why customers choose the IC777

People choose the IC777 over the IC333 for three reasons — the cordless remote, the under-bed lighting and the memory positions. All three matter most at night, and at night is when things go wrong.

A remote with no cable

Nothing to tangle in the bedding, trap under the frame or trip a carer in the dark. Backlit, wipeable, with one-touch memory presets and a Zero G position.

Light on the floor, automatically

A motion-sensor LED strip lights the floor when someone gets out of bed. Simple, and one of the most practical falls-prevention features you can have in a bedroom.

One button to transfer height

The Patient Transfer button moves the bed straight to the right height for a transfer — no hunting for the position every time.

Power cuts do not stop it

An external rechargeable battery keeps the bed working through an outage, so nobody is stranded at the wrong height.

Can I see one before I buy?

We do not keep an IC777 on hand, but we do have its sibling the IC333 in our Putaruru showroom, and the two share the same frame, height range and build. Book a video call and we will walk you around the IC333 live and talk you through exactly what the IC777 adds. You are also welcome to visit the showroom in person, by appointment.

Do you have a showroom?

Yes — in Putaruru, open by appointment only. We currently have the iCare IC333 and Cubro Caro beds there, along with lift chairs including the Goldfern range, Monarch and VMotion chairs. We also have a separate showroom in Auckland for Pride and Theorem chairs. Get in touch and we will arrange a time, or a video call if that is easier.

How is the IC777 different from the IC333?

Both are four-function hi-lo beds with the same height range, angles and 10-year frame warranty. The IC777 adds a cordless remote with memory presets, motion-sensor under-bed lighting, an external rechargeable battery and a heavy-duty steel mesh platform with mattress retainer bars.

Which mattress fits this bed?

Any iCare mattress in a matching size — IC15, IC20, IC25, IC30, M1, M2, M3 or VersaFlo3. Stay within the iCare range, because iCare and Cubro use different size names and dimensions. Also check the mattress depth against any side rails.

Will it fit through my doorway?

Yes. The bed is assembled in the room it will be used in. Measure the room instead — allow 215cm of length plus the base width, and space to walk around at least one side.

Is a mattress included?

No. The bed is supplied base-only so the mattress can be matched to the clinical need. Contact us and we will quote the bed and mattress together as one price.

Does the under-bed light stay on all night?

No — it is motion-sensor activated, so it lights the floor when someone moves to get up and then switches off again.

Can I get funding for this bed?

Possibly. Funded equipment is arranged through an occupational therapist, who submits the request to Enable New Zealand or Accessable, or to ACC if the need arises from an injury. We are a registered vendor with Enable, ACC and MSD/Work and Income.

Will a hoist fit underneath?

Yes — unlimited under-bed clearance, so a mobile hoist gets right in.

How is it delivered and assembled?

The bed is made to order and arrives ready to assemble in the room. If you would rather not do it yourself, we can arrange in-home delivery, full assembly and packaging removal from $250 + GST depending on your region — contact us for a quote for your address before you order.
